About Us
I’m Chloe, a landscape architect with a background in marine and freshwater biology. My work is shaped by an understanding of ecology and the way landscapes can connect people with the natural world. Every project is guided by a sense of care and atmosphere, creating spaces that invite moments of connection and belonging.
My approach begins with listening to the site, the climate, and the people who will live within it. I believe the best landscapes grow from understanding how natural systems work and how we, in turn, can support them.
The studio is named after my grandmother, whose garden was my first classroom. She taught me to notice the quiet details, the way plants find light, how soil holds memory, and how care can shape a place over time.
Before establishing the studio, I worked in events, creating spaces designed for atmosphere and emotion. That experience taught me how design can influence how people feel, move, and connect. It is a perspective that continues to inform my work, creating landscapes that are restorative, purposeful, and alive.
Our Garden Design Services
Design Consultation
We begin learning about your vision. Through conversation and observation, we explore what you want to achieve and the possibilities of your landscape. This session helps shape the direction of your project and sets the foundation for the next stage.
Concept
From our initial discussions, we create sketches, mood boards, and planting ideas to bring your vision to life. We meet to review these concepts and refine them together, ensuring the design feels right for both you and your space.
Plan
Once the concept is agreed, we produce detailed drawings and layouts that guide the build. These plans cover hard landscaping, structures, and planting arrangements, making sure every element works together in harmony.
Build
We liaise with your chosen contractors and guide the project on site to ensure the design is realised with care and precision. Regular check-ins help the landscape develop exactly as intended, while keeping the process smooth and efficient.
Plant
We create a bespoke planting scheme that complements the design and supports ecological balance. This includes advice for ongoing care, seasonal interest, and how each plant contributes to the overall harmony of your landscape.
Maintain
A landscape continues to thrive with care. We offer seasonal check-ins or ongoing maintenance to support your garden as it grows and changes. For clients further afield, we can recommend trusted professionals from our network.
